Why I won't buy a Harley

With apologies to Mike, other than the fact that they are overpriced and as noisy as hell, Tex pretty much has it covered. Of course this is just another variation of the Mac/Windows/Linux debate, and has about as much chance of being resolved as said geek argument.

That aside, you couldn't pay me enough to own a Harley. For now, I'm happy with my Ninja. It's comfortable for around-town and short-to medium-length road trips. I've gotten to the age where I don't have much of a need for speed, so I haven't taken el Vuelo over 90mph. This bike should last me for some time.

After the kids are on their own, though, this will be my ride. rrrrowrr!
