What is my purpose in life?

                     Is there life after death?        

                                                       How do I get to Heaven?

                                       Is God real?

These are just a few of the questions we have all asked at one time or another.

The Bible tells us that sin has separated us from God, Romans 3:23  says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", and in Romans 6:23 we read that the "wages of sin is death".  The good news is that Jesus Christ, the son of God, paid the price for us by dying on the cross. He took on His shoulders the sins of the world so that we might be restored in our relationship to God.  Romans 5:8 says "God demonstrates his love for us in that: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".   It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God.  In John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".    After His crucifixion Jesus defeated death by resurrecting on the third day.   Through this resurrection he has enabled those who have a personal relationship with Him to live eternally in Heaven when their life on earth ends.

God created you for a purpose, and that is to have a personal relationship with Him.  He loves you so much that he sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on a cross for your sins.  Is that enough to get into Heaven?....no, God also created you with "free will", which means it's up to you whether you decide to accept his gift of salvation or not.  Before you make a decision keep in mind that we all suffer the consequences of our actions, and while the consequences of accepting Christ is eternal life with Him,  the consequences of sin is death, an eternal separation from God.

If you want to receive Christ into your life you can do it right now wherever you are through prayer. There is nothing complicated about prayer, it's just you talking to God. Ask him to forgive your sins and ask him to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior.

After this be sure and get involved in a local Bible-believing Church, get help from a mature believer, spend time reading the Bible and praying, and tell others what Jesus has done for you.
